Our little Kaimanawa pair has expanded! We moved Kea and Kereru (Kaimanawa mares from this years muster) about a month ago to the deer unit 25 mins away as the fencing was safer (deer fencing and not hot) for them to foal. So they have been relaxing over there checked daily but left to their own devices.
The fillies are looking super, this is Kereru’s daughter who is huge! She isn’t far off her mother who is 14.1hh. And is a lovely upstanding girl.
Our lovely Kaimanawa fillies have been sold and headed off to their new home. We are really missing their squeals at feed out time and how amazing they were to handle!
