Weiti Stables is our property on Kaiaua road in Mangatangi, Northern Waikato, just 20 minutes from Bombay.
At only 90 acres it is a lot smaller than what we are used to but the God send is that is is literally across the road from the spectacular Emerald Downs station which is managed under my Dad (the same as Weiti station, both are owned by HGG) So we have some of the most beautiful riding you could imagine backed up to the Hunua ranges.
New facilities
The facility’s have been built from scratch are still developing all the time. We have a brilliant 40m by 60m arena with a 12m round pen built on. Well set out stable block and under cover tie up, the upstairs of the beautiful old wooldshed has been converted into the tack/feed room and still holds much of its character including the shearing stands. The paddocks are safe, and sheltered with electric fencing.
The property is absolutely packed with mature specimen trees and has great soil and pasture. A great place for horses and people, we love it 🙂
