Attractive and talented 15.1hh 5yr old Gisbornebred gelding.

Truffle is a very classy young man, we brought him from Ruatoria fresh broken in April (2015).

This boy is a lovely young horse, a supple and elastic type, lovely loose trot and extra special in canter, very balanced and regular. Just learning the basics on the flat, Truff is working in a nice frame and accepting his work nicely.

 

Truff turned out to have very bad teeth on arrival, sharp hooks and a badly broken wolf tooth probably from trauma.. ouch! Unsurprisingly this has made him a little funny in the mouth, he was on and off to soft then to hard but is learning quickly that the contact is there to help and comfort him rather than cause him pain.

Tuff was sold in January 2016 and  had some great adventures in his new home including hunt treks and big forest rides up North, however he grew nervous and wasn’t suitable any longer for the owners so we brought him back.

 

Truffle is a cracking type, clean, refined limbs and a big strong engine, still immature in front but his frame is wonderful and he has a very handsome face. He is a true black and white with awesome markings, very even on both sides, would be a great competitor in the pinto show ring with his looks and coloring.

This guy could excel in any discipline, a very sporty young horse with a bright future.
