TB gelding by Domesday out of an Octagonal mare
Gerry was bred in Aussie and had a stint in Hong Kong but was too slow.
Gerry has a fabulous nature, he is kind and straight forward to ride. He is on the lazy side but never nappy or stubborn just naturally quiet!
This guy has had two months of professional schooling and is getting all his ducks in a row nicely, he is super trainable and rewarding to work with and knows the basics. Still picks up the wrong lead on the right rein some times but is learning fast!
Gerry has three lovely, loose paces. BIG trot, he looks beautiful working under saddle despite his greenness, he will be fantastic with more schooling and time to mature.
His talents do not end with his flat work! Gerry is a very natural jumper, still green but shows as much promise as most purpose bred young warmbloods! He has great form in front and behind and this coupled with his brave and willing nature make him a very serious prospect.
Happily cantering around small courses. Gerry has also schooled cross country and hacked out with no worries what so ever. A real no nonsense type of guy.
I can hardly rave about this horse enough, for the limited work he has done he is already a great ride with so much ability in all areas, no event, jump or dressage rider would regret having this horse on their team.
With such a nice nature Gerry is equally suited to a confident lady or teen wanting a best mate to bring on as an allrounder or top class PC eventing mount.
No vices, good to shoe, catch, float etc. Teeth and back have just been done plus a course of Gastropel just in case of any ulcer issues (he showed no symptoms). So no corners cut, ready to go forth and make someone very very happy!
He’s is beautiful too! Stunning head and excellent conformation. Just needs to fill out, still looks quite weak but feels very ready and balanced under saddle.
