I still exist, We have just been in orbit the last few months.

Firstly hows about this suave new website! I thought it was pretty cool, have a bit of a surf and see all our new ponies and updates!

Busy does not even begin to describe our bloody stable!

A quick update…

H.O.Y was fantastic, we didn’t win anything special but had a brilliant time, I cannot thank my unbelievable support crew enough..Michele, Sonja, Leeanne, Mirren, Jenny and Olivia you are all saints ;-)

…The ponies were turned out after they let down and are now big fat hairy manatees rolling around out the back, it’s amazing how quickly they go from lean, shiny sportsmodels to pudgy, bearded hillfolk when they really need the holiday…

…So with the competition horses out, a tribe of next seasons stars (rising 4 and 5yr olds) have come in for the winter, they are clipped out, shod and ready to learn the ropes in the hideous Auckland weather (if it ever should come)…

…The last thing we needed was more horses but the draw of Bruce Holden’s momentous sale at Ngahiwi in Gisborne was too much for us. So, gorgeward we did go to ‘just have a little look’ and perhaps by one of those nice Indoctro ones.  There was a fabulous turnout, however few of the vast crowd were being very ballsy about putting there hands in the air, despite the quality of some of Bruce’s youngstock being  just outstanding. So we ended up buying 19 of the bloody things…

…In the middle of the night a few days after the sale a cattle truck and trailer full of exhausted ponies pulled up at our yards, and here we are with a stable overflowing with fresh faces, every single one of them are fantastic, both the flash youngsters and the good old coasties alike. Not one bad apple, thanks boys.

Anyway, here we are busily selling horses and starting the winter training thing… All is well at weiti stables ;-)

Team Ngahiwi, a bit suspicious morning one at Weiti.
