Our modest little yard can be found on 3000 acre of lovely farm land just north of Auckland city.

THE STABLE

We don’t stable anything full time during the off season however during the show season we like to keep the horses which are travelling inside or yarded at night. We have three large covered loose boxes, two 5×5m boxes and an open barn we normally stable two horses together in. There are also 10 over night grass yards below the stable.

There is an under cover concreted yard for tacking up and washing down 3 or 4 horses at once leading into a big old shed with two levels, upstairs the grazers keep their gear and downstairs is our feed and rug room, lock up tack room, kitchen and general hang out

RIDING

During th summer months we do most of our work on the hills and in the jump paddock, a large grass area with heaps of showjumps and a few cross country jumps. The winter is much more limited but we do have an all weather arena and our drive is 1.5km long and makes for excellent road work.

2yr old getting used to the arena where she will be worked for the first steps in her breaking in.

The horses always enjoy their workouts at the jump paddock, the 5minute hack from the yard is perfect to help warm up and down.
