4yrs going on 15! what a sweetie. Lightning is super laid back mare with an easy approach to her training we do not often see in fillies of her age.

She is a powerful horse with a natural spring in all three paces. She has a big engine and gives a real athletic feeling in all her work (even plodding out on the farm, you can tell she’s something!) Big, expressive trot and the most beautiful rocking horse canter.

We could never stop going on about what a pleasure Lightning is to work with both on the ground and under saddle. Very much her own person, no clinginess or stress. There is not a grain of dirt in this horse. The sort of baby anyone with a bit of confidence and a good trainer could bring on.

Lightning has the attitude and scope to be a very serious prospect in any discipline. She is bred for the jumper ring and in good hands she surely won’t disappoint there! Planning to make her debut on the hunt field in the autumn.
